Community service
In our By-Laws the stated purpose of West Sound Quilters "shall be to share and stimulate the knowledge and love of quilting among WSQ members and our community, through education and community service. "
To keep track of our member's community service we have a Community Service Coordinator. At this time that coordinator is Audrey Ainsworth. Among her other duties she is instructed in our Standing Rules to conduct a survey at least annually of the members’ community service efforts and compile the resulting data into a comprehensive report. This information can then be made available for promotion of WSQ at community events such as at our quilt show or raffle ticket sales.
We have two forms available in the Form Bank and below so you as a member can provide her with information on quilts you have made for charity, either through our own Community Quilts group or on your own for other organizations. You can provide the information monthly or annually.
