FEARLESS FREE-MOTION QUILTING
(Quilting on home sewing machine)
The purpose of the group is to learn how to do FEARLESS free motion quilting using a darning foot on your home sewing machine.
Meg Shellenberger will show all of the steps in the process of planning, marking, making the "quilt sandwich", preparing to quilt as well as the actual stitching. She shows how to remove all fears from getting started and how to get good results. She will suggest some helpful tools and supplies you will find useful. Learn how to use quilt stencils and quilt feathers, stippling, trapunto and more.
WHILE WE WILL NOT BE ACTUALLY QUILTING YOUR REAL QUILTS, PLEASE FEEL FREE TO BRING QUILT TOPS TO “AUDITION” QUILTING PATTERNS.
