Westsound Quilters Raffle Quilt "Sea of Inspiration"
The Raffle Quilt expands on the theme and is titled "Sea of Inspiration". Based on the pattern "Working out the Blues" designed by Ruth Hans (permission granted) as published the book "From the Cover" this quilt uses the ocean wave block* constructed with beautiful batiks based on the colors of sea life and set against the color of calm waters. Subtly quilted sea life swim in the background, offering additional detail and interest to this quilt. Pieced by the guild members mini-group Ladies of the Thread, quilted by member Jennifer Pielow.
